What we collect
When you join the Formatt waitlist, we collect one piece of information: your email address. That is the only personal data we hold about you.
How we use it
Your email address is used for one purpose only — to notify you when your spot on Formatt opens. We do not send newsletters. We do not send product updates. We do not send marketing communications. One email, one moment, then it is your choice whether to continue.
How we store it
Your email address is stored on a secured third-party service used exclusively for waitlist management. It is not stored in a public database, not exposed in any interface, and not accessible to anyone outside the core Formatt team.
Who we share it with
Nobody. Your email address is never sold, never rented, never shared with advertisers, partners, or any third party for any commercial purpose. The only service that handles your data is the infrastructure provider that powers the waitlist — under strict data processing terms.
Referrals
If you refer another founder to the waitlist, we record the association between your email and theirs solely to calculate your position movement. This referral data is used for no other purpose and is never shared.
Your rights
You have the right to access the data we hold about you, to correct it, and to request its complete deletion at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address listed in the Legal Notice. We will respond and action your request within 7 days. If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the GDPR including the right to restriction of processing and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Unsubscribing & deletion
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Using it removes you from the waitlist permanently and deletes your email from our system. You can also request deletion directly by contacting us — the result is identical.
Cookies & tracking
The Formatt waitlist page does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or behavioral analytics. No data about your browsing behavior is collected or shared.
